Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Citrus Press, Good piece of kit

It meet’s all my expactations.

Not affordable & definitely not critical but really valuable if you make your mind up like me you have to have one particular. Very high-priced but i adore it so it is worthy of every penny. I use it each day and it squeezes just about every lemon, orange and grapefruit totally and completely. If you have the worktop room and can pay for it, i advisable it very.

Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Citrus Press

  • Patented juicing cone for all types of citrus.
  • All juicing parts are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
  • Stainless steel filter provided, depending if you like a super smooth juice or one with a bit of texture.
  • Ultra quiet motor makes this not only a beautiful appliance, but a beautiful appliance to use.
  • Lever arm design ensures an even juicing across the entire fruit with no sticky fingers.

At initial i believed this was quite high-priced and was likely to terminate the get but i was too late. It is a pretty sturdy piece of machines and so effortless to use. I now freshly squeeze my morning juice alternatively of achieving for a carton. Certainly it is pricey but i would extremely propose it. Very good piece of package and will not choose up much too a lot home.

To be genuine i haven’t bought 1 of these but but you can tell how superior it is by the way heston is seeking at it and to think i just about squandered my revenue on the kitchen craft version of this products at £1. 99i placing all my cost savings with each other for a single of these now. Need to be mine in about 200 sleeps.

Extremely fantastic merchandise only con was that the best fell off and will never go back again in. Other than that worked like a appeal.

Sage by Heston Blumenthal the Citrus Press : Very happy with most aspects of this item but the head on the handle falls off very easily.

No plastic pieces on contact with the juice (only in contact with the orange skin in the presser, at the top), this is what i was looking for. My flatmate bought it 7 years ago, and he says it is still working very well. Perfect delivery from the uk to tenerife. Really expensive product though.

Beautiful but time consuming. Beautiful design but pulps quickly builds up on the sieve so one has to constantly remove the pulp making it time consuming to use the machine.

Absolutely love this product. Absolutely love this product. I’ve become a citrus juice addict. Just keep in mind that you should have a small spoon handy the citrus “husk” from the juicer especially when you’re doing a long “family size”run. This beast of a machine takes down all comers.

Not cheap & certainly not essential but extremely useful if you decide like me you have to have one. Very expensive but i love it so it is worth every penny. I use it daily and it squeezes every lemon, orange and grapefruit thoroughly and perfectly. If you have the worktop space and can afford it, i recommended it highly.

Very good product but it arrives with a missing filter for diferent juice. I trying to get it but it looks like you can only send back the whole product and get another one. It should be possible to get the missing part without sending back the whole product.

The photo of heston gazing thoughtfully at the juicer’s head, might very well be, the clincher.

Easy to use, quick to disassemble and clean, very easy to reassemble. Addendum: i paid £132 for my juicer, i’m amazed it’s gone back up to £199. You may want to wait until the price comes back down. I have several manual and electric juicers, far too many in fact, and they’re all good at general juicing, but a bit of a bore on citrus fruits. Typically the cones are made of plastic, and often discolour, as do the filters. I also have the juicing attachments to food processors and my kitchenaid, and the same problems apply: they are all difficult to clean, and generally a bit of a fiddle to put together. If you’re going to use something like this on a regular basis, it has to work perfectly, fit together very simply, and be a doddle to clean. The sage citrus press is a fantastic piece of kit. Firstly, it looks good, always a factor if you’re going to leave this somewhere that encourages you to use it often. It’s a very solid piece of kit, with virtually all the relevant bits being made of heavy metal (the inside of the “cap” is lined with plastic, but that’s the only piece).

For people with hand problems or disabilities it is fantastic, you can juice effortlessly using your arm/elbow. I bought this machine for my mother because it was the only one i could find with a lever. For people with hand problems or disabilities it is fantastic, you can juice effortlessly using your arm/elbow. The build quality is a real bonus, great to see there is still some one making quality stuff in this “disposable world”. I intend to get one myself when my plastic one gives up.

At first i thought this was very expensive and was going to cancel the order but i was too late. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment and so easy to use. I now freshly squeeze my morning juice instead of reaching for a carton. Yes it is expensive but i would highly recommend it. Good piece of kit and doesn’t take up too much room.

Not when it comes to the citrus press from sage, i can assure you. The unit is beautifully crafted using what i believe is brushed stainless steel, but its not all about looks, is it?i wanted to create fresh orange juice without having the hassle of a convoluted set up / clean up process, i’m not disappointedhaving read many reviews of various juicers from different companies i settled on the sage citrus press, why?.You cut an orange in half, place on the juicer, pull the handle down and voila, the juice flows into the glass with no effort. Cleaning the pulp on this citrus press takes 5 minutes, quick rinse under the tap and dry off with a towel is all it takes. So all in all, 4 oranges = 1 large tumbler and currently you can purchase 7 oranges from the likes of morrisons for 99pence. My only disappointment was one that was caused by amazon, i received the unit with only one pulp filter, they sent a replacement and that had a filter missing also. Amazon did compensate me for this and sage are going to send me a replacement filter free of charge which i consider fantastic customer service.
