    I’ve also got a fast juicer and this is definitely better. The juice doesn’t separate like with the other one, and there is a noticeable improvement in the quality and quantity compared to the centrifugal juicer. Takes a little bit longer to prepare the fruit/veg but on the other hand is easier to clean and far less messy than the other one.

      Matsone if you are serious about juicing. I bought my burgundy matstone juicer in august 2013 and i love and use my juicer regularly. The drum cap came apart recently and i contacted the agents where i purchased my juicer to claim under the warranty. It took me longer to find my invoice and warranty than it took for them to provide a replacement drum cap. They were fantastic i spoke to someone on friday afternoon at 5pm. There was definitely no argument he just wanted to know which part was broken and the part was delivered to me the following day. Whilst this item is probably slightly more expensive than many other juicers it is quite heavy duty and the warranty really is worth it.

        Excellent product and excellent customer service when a part needed replacing under warranty. . This is a fantastic juicer which also has other functions. It is robustly made and can be put together and taken apart in a matter of seconds. It is very easy to clean and has a five year warranty on parts which i have been able to test out since the juicing screen needed replacing. I contacted the seller a couple of days ago and today i received another juicing screen. An excellent product and excellent service should any part need replacing within the warranty period.

    Good but not great, what i really wanted was the green star one but it was way out of my price range so i thought that this was the next best thing and that the red would match my kitchen decor. But when i opened the box it was burgundy *angry face* nevertheless it does give you a healthy amount of juice but doesnt juice it bone dry like the tribest greenstar. And forget about juicing anything non juicy such as kale or spinach it just comes back out all squashed up, and there was me hoping for freshly squeezed kale juice. Im am unsure of what all the other spare parts are for and have yet to figure out how to make nut butters with this. The pulp and the juice come out of different holes but on the same ends quite annoying really, and the pulp comes out the way it would in a toilet if you ate it which is amusing to watch.

    A long time centrifugal juicer user here, but finally bit the bullet when my last machine shattered. It didn’t seem to like a beetroot and tried to throw it back out, right through the top of the machine. I’d had it 5 years though, so it had done its time. My wife and i looked at masticating juicers as being better for getting more juice from the fruit and veg, and also running at a much lower temperature, therefore protecting the vitamins that are degraded by heat. This is a good looking, solid machine, and well worth the cost, in my opinion. Been using it now for 6 months or so and never had a problem. It certainly takes a bit longer than the centrifugal machines, but i have come to really enjoy the preparation process – it makes me feel a little more in touch with what i eati’ve found that you don’t need to cut things into small chunks. I cut things into long strips, or even chip-shaped. Cut a cucumber lengthways into four quarters and then drop teach quarter in one at a time.

    I received this a xmas present and it’s just fabulous. It’s easy to use and easy to clean and really, really does the job. As with all things there are new tricks to learn to make it reach it’s potential but, as you progress it feels even better.

    Works like a dream and i think i’m in love. Been making juices non stop since. Seems to extract a lot of a juice compared to my old juicer. I love that i can make up 2 juices at the same time and leave one in the fridge for later without worrying about it going bad so quickly. Means i’m not having to make a juice (and clean the juicer etc) every 2-3 hours.

    This juicer produces a fantastic quality juice,it’s easy to use and easy to clean. Even though there is more preparation time for the fruits and veg compared to a centrifugal juicer the quality of the juice is outstanding and keeps for longer.

    I use it minimum 3 times a day and enjoy the quality of the juice i get. I already recommended it to friends. For me, a lot better then the noisy centrifuge juicer i saq at a friend. And on top of that i can make pasta and plenty other things i haven’t tried yet. No hesitation well worse the price.

    Great product, bought and used daily. Picked this product based on reviews and guarantee, the juicer came quickly and has been used everyday since. We found it soon pays for itself and wouldn’t consider buying juice anymore as its no comparison to the real thing. Haven’t tried the pasta making yet, but regularly use the mincer to make great fresh salsa.

    Excellent masticating juicer for the price. . This juicer was the replacement i received after the philips avance motor burned out after a mere 3 months, from another supplier, who was fantastic. I have currently had this machine now for over a year, i juice virtually every day, using a large variety of fruit and vegetables. In fact when i’m having juice days, i only remove the juice sieve to clean that and then put it back on. At the end of the day i will take clean all the parts. Very good for vegetables and hard fruits, not as efficient with soft fruits. (juice soft fruits/berries between hard fruits /vegs)4. Additional sieve on juice cup means a pulp free juice. Pulp can be put through the machine again to attempt to extract more juice from it. (works best if “sandwiched between pieces of hard vegetables like carrot). Cutting up all the fruit and veg can be a little time consuming. Pulp on soft fruit/veg can be very wet. This type of juicer masticates/presses the fruit/veg into a soft pulp them pushes it through the sieve – it extracts more juice – but it does also mean a fair bit of pulp gets pressed through too, and while the 2nd sieve on the juice cup will catch it, when juicing a large batch, the sieve quickly clogs up from the pulp. Mind, i’ve noticed that the juice sieve has some cracks in the plastic that goes around the sieve, so it may be i need to replace this – as i think the amount of pulp being pushed through has increased from when i first began using this machine.

    Although i haven’t used the other functions, it has attachments to allow you to mince meat/fish/ice etc and another to make noodles/spaghetti. As a juicer it works really well, getting a good volume of liquid from the fruit & veg (even leafy greens), although i have had to pass the pulp through for a second time to get the most out of it. It is much quieter than i expected it would be and much easier to clean, although getting all the pulp out of the sieve can sometimes be a little tricky with some prodce. Finally, i like the colour but i was a little disappointed when it arrived to find it a much darker red than it looks in the picture – although it is listed as burgundy (which it is), it looks more like pillar-box red in the picture and i was really pleased as i though i had found a juicer to match other items in my kitchen. Not the end of the world just a minor gripe.
