Purchased this to switch a juicer device and it is so a lot superior than the equipment that unsuccessful me two times. Only grip is that you are not able to juice whole apples so you have to chop it up a little but thats not really a problem.

But tube for feeding is a little bit compact, so you have to reduce the fruit.

My magimix doesn’t have a citrus press, but i just peel the oranges and adhere ’em in the chute.     Easy to use but not great at extracting pulp. I bought this so that i could use my magimix 4200 as a juicer. It fits snugly and is very easy to use, and not too much of a pain to clean – the components come apart easily so that the pulp can be removed and a quick run under the tap or soak is all that is needed. The pulp is quite dry, meaning that near maximum juice and nutrients have been extracted. Overall it is very easy and quick to produce delicious juices. However, i do want to point out a few cons. Firstly, the resultant juice still contains quite a lot of pulp, when it should be clear. It’s easy to rectify this by passing it through a sieve, but as the whole point of juicing is to remove the pulp this is a bit of a letdown, as well as adding an extra step to the process – and more washing up. Secondly, if there is too much juice generated, the mixture can seep out of the join at the lid – i had this happen with about 700 ml of juice (it’s happened before whilst in use as a food processor – maybe my magimix simply has an ill-fitting lid?) and lastly, i have noticed that the section above the juice basket has slight shaving markings; slight concern about plastic in my juices.At least the sieving should counteract that :-)in summary, this juicer attachment does work well for the most part.

      I wanted a juicer but did not want another lump taking up space in the kitchen. The kit is extremely well made and works very well indeed. It is not cheap ,being about the same cost as a cheaper quality juicer, but combined with the magimix it creates a very high quality juicer which will last many years. It is easy to clean and the removable ring on top of the spinner makes removing the crud really easy. The juice tastes amazing and for anyone seeking to loose weight and improve their health the juicer will be a must have item.

One thing i’d say is that if, while you’re using it, you struggle to get juice out of it you need to stop it, scrape out the solids, and then keep going. I think most people, like myself, will use it for making juice, but the coulis attachment is well worth using too. I’ve made lovely raspberry, strawberry, even orange coulis, among others. It’s no more effort and can add a lovely addition to a dessert or snack. This attachment isn’t dishwasher-friendly but it doesn’t take much effort to just rinse it out and let it dry.

    Very solidly put together, and the juicing function seems to work rather well. I can’t comment on the other functions, as i am yet to try them.

    Bought this to replace a juicer machine and it is so much better than the machine that failed me twice. This extracts more juice and without the froth that the other juicer used to leave on top. Only grip is that you can’t juice whole apples so you have to chop it up a little but thats not really a problem.
