Kuvings Cold Press Wide Feed Juicer, A large step up

We have been utilizing the kuvings cold press juicer for over a yr now. The good quality of the juice is astounding. We have as opposed it to centrifugal juicers which oxides the juice and give you layer separation. The massive feeder tends to make it uncomplicated to juice full apples and the motor is extremely powerful and can juice wheatgrass and kale really straightforward. We use it to make almond milk in a moment and cleansing the machines usually takes a moment aswell. The machine is on long lasting demo at selfridges oxford road which provides you the assurance in obtaining a juicer that is dependable by the key office storesyou an even use it to make tasty smoothies and ice product which is definetly something you can’t use in a centrifugal juicer.

So just after significantly studying and speaking about, we decided to acquire the kurvings. The assembling was very straight forward and effortless (youtube movie) and getting our 1st juice was a few minutes work. The equipment is nicely developed and durable. It has basic features that everyone can use. Cleansing can be a little bit distressing since of the diverse components that need to have washing but a run under the water for most of it is more than enough. However, the main juice holder has two nozzles the place the juice and waste will come out from. The just one for the squander is a bit of a ache to clean if you have made use of comfortable fruits mainly because it receives stuck and the cleaning wire will not likely go that much to thoroughly clean the fruits out. Other than that, the machine is a charm- will update as this is only the 2nd time employing it.

Fantastic juicer but overpriced.

It does juice leafy veg fantastic but when i set the plastic containers in the. It does juice leafy veg excellent but when i put the plastic containers in the dishwasher they went all cloudy. The advise is only juice as significantly as you will consume in a person sitting down so i finished up carrying out a great deal of washing up.

Kuvings Cold Press Wide Feed Juicer, 240 W, Silver : Easily handles spinach, beetroot, kale and all sorts of healthy nonsense. More importantly, just really tasty fruit juices. Recommendation: 3 oranges, 1 lime, mint leaves, ice and some rumdownside: takes a few minutes to clean all the parts after juicing. And for beginners it’s not obvious how to put it all back together. After a few attempts you learn though.

Very easy to assemble and use. Produces a good dry pulp and isn’t that slow or loud. The juice itself is sometimes pulpy so maybe place a sieve under the feed if you order. I researched for a while and am very pleased with this product. Cleaning is perhaps not as quick as some would like and does require a bit of time and disassembly but overall a good product.

Not new to juicing but thought it time to replace my current machine to one which offers greater yield and a nutrient dense juice. This juicer is fantastic to use. I was thinking to purchase greenstar but so glad i bought this. Fantastic quality juice, easy to clean and compact.

This is a really nice piece of equipement. This is a really nice piece of equipement. Well built and is easy to operate. Cleaning is not that bad and it’s nice that you can make juice and then drink it later. Would give 5 stars but didn’t come with a uk plug.

I love this juiceri’d just like to say, i didn’t purchase this from amazon so this is no a verified review. It was bought used from ebay for £269. I did so much research on a juicers, because i wanted to take charge of my health. I won’t bore you with my life story though. :) i had my heart set on the hurom 700, but just liked the idea of the wider shoot, and after use, i know i’ve made the right choice. Ok, this juicer is a joy to use. Even though it’s a slow juicer, it makes juice in no time. I haven’t had the same issues others have had with things like celery. It hasn’t jammed up for me once.

Not recommended for large quantities. I purchased this juicer a couple of months back when i started a juicing fast (reboot). Here are my observations:the mechanism(s) to extract the pulp gets jammed fairly quickly when juicing anything with fibrous or hard pulp. Ginger, carrot, celery, beetroot. I found it very difficult to get the juicer to juice more than say 4kg of carrots or 500g ginger without jamming. Even when adding the vegetables very slowly, the juicer would still get jammed. Worse case is that the pulp builds up under the large screw. It pushes the screw into the lid, which jams the lid in place. I’m a big guy; when this happened i’d have to wrap both arms around the juicer and pull with a hell of a lot of force in order to unjam the lid. In order to unblock the juicer you need to pull it apart, preferably in a large sink, and wash the parts. I contacted kuvings about this. They recommended a few things. Pieces of lemon at intervals whilst juicing (which i admit i didn’t try), soaking the vegetables overnight, particularly carrots, which i did not try as i really didn’t have the time or patience to do that.

Previously owned/juiced an omega vrt350. Didn’t quite have the guts to go kuvings all the way when i bought a few new juicers as i was very happy with the vrt (15 yr warranty on entire omega unit was a factor). I got one kuvings to compare to the 400vrts. Haven’t yet tried the 400’s but compared to the 350 it’s a substantial leap. Mainly the larger feed but also the stronger motor and the juice quality; less pulp and larger volume. Cleaning the vrt was no problem, however with the kuvings supplied screen-brush, less recessed parts and larger pulp/juice outlets, the kuvings cleaning is about a minute quicker. As with all vertical single auger juicers, thready produce (celery, kale, parsley) needs to be pre-cut in order for the pulp outlet to stay unclogged. Disregarding this will degrade the quality with a lot more pulp in the juice. This is also why i hesitated in acknowledging the larger shoot as a strong buying point, especially since pushing down too much produce at once will also degrade the juice quality.

Awesome juicer, sturdy simple and easy to use, quick to clean. Before buying i did my research. I dismissed centrifugal juicers because they are wasteful, typically hard to clean and produce insipid aerated juice. Out of the alternatives i opted for vertical single auger type juicers as the most space saving and general purpose non centrifugal juicers. The more expensive twin auger horizontal juicers didn’t seem to offer sufficient if any advantages to justify their higher price esp given they are typically harder to clean. I also dismissed the cheaper vertical single auger juicers opting instead for an established brand. Of those remaining the kuvings whole slow juicer as its called in the us seemed the most interesting of the latest models well reviewed on youtube etc. Glad to report i made a good choice. Can’t speak for the competition but i’m very happy with the kuvings. Can honestly say its one of my best kitchen appliance purchases ever.

I have had a philips avance for over a year and as i use it daily thought it was time to upgrade to a slow juicer, spurred on by the fact you can keep the juice for 72 hours. The down side of kuvings is its a pain to assemble and disassemble. If anything is slightly out of line it wont go together. Im getting the hang of it but its quite stiff to take apart. Its as quick to clean as the philips was. The juice is more pulpy but you get double the juice than from the philips and if you hate the thicker juice you can always strain it. Its very quiet and although its called slow it really isn’t. You have to learn not push anything down hard but it has a reverse button is anything gets jammed. So far ive juiced everything except wheatgrass which is my next purchase and its very time saving not having to make a juice everyday but make a big batch up.
